27/3/12- Experimented with different hand generated mateials all of which are included in this latest blog entry. The design above has been produced from pastels. The design resembles the Union Jack with music staves going across it. The colours work well together and closely resemble my intentions.
The paint experiment again has the Union Jack this time inside the staves. The flag design works although the letters are not clearly visible. This could have been improved if the paint was a darker black colour which might have made the letters stand out more.
The experiment above used ink which features staves and BME and British Music Experience written below and above them respectivley. The writing is clearly visible and not difficult to read. I prefer the design that has BME below the staves because it is more simpler.
Good development work so far Dan. The top idea is vibrant and nicely contained within the flag. Try taking these ideas further by using Photoshop, if you have it at home. Have a play around with different layouts and fonts, and annotate with your thoughts on these experiments.
