BME Outcome

16/4/12- Worked to finish the final outcome in Photoshop. I tried a different layout and used the eraser tool to remove some white background still remaining in the music notes. I think the layout is okay and feel the outcome is complete. The spotlight background looks to be a little bit pixelated although that is the result when enlarging some images in Photoshop because the quality decreases the bigger the size.

17/4/12- I removed the two images of Queen and The Beatles because if they had been included everyother act at the Britsh Music Experience would have wanted to have been featured as well. I added contact details, opening times and ticket prices for visitor information and justified the text for tidiness. I printed out the final outcome and presented it to the rest of the group for a critique. The design received positive reviews and the only thing that was suggested for improvement was the white music note because it appeared pixelated. In all I feel the outcome has been a successful one.

Photoshop Experiments

In this latest entry, I have experimented with designs in Photoshop. This includes a spotlight design with red white and blue music notes set against the Union Jack. The flag is faded out in the background so that the spotlight stands out. The notes still need some cleaning up with layer masking to edit out the white backgrounds although not very much. The font is also in red, white and blue to continue with the British theme used throughout.

Update- The letters 'B', 'M', and 'E' have been added to the music notes. The notes have been cleaned up some more and look better. I will now space out the text so that words and images are not battling with each other for space.

The white note has been moved to within the spotlight. I am unsure whether this works or not so I will have another look at it for potential improvements.
